PECO's Merger Settlement (2000)

PECO’s March 23, 2000 settlement associated with the merger of PECO and Unicom Inc., contained rate reductions and extended rate caps beyond the agreements of the 1998 plan. It also provided for electric reliability and customer service standards, mechanisms to enhance competition and customer choice, expanded assistance to low-income customers, extensive funding for wind and solar energy and community education.
