Eligibility

You are eligible for E-Bill unless the following applies:

  • You are currently on postcard billing, or send in your own meter readings.
  • You receive large print, multi-copy or Braille billing.
  • You have recently terminated your service.
  • You are a very new PECO customer within the first few days after requesting service.
  • You are on a residential rate but have identified yourself as a home business (sales tax reflected on bill).  Please click here to review the commercial eligibility rules and sign up for e-Bill.

For Better Service:

  • If you already have direct debit automatic payment (Power Pay) for your PECO bill, you can view your bill by logging on to the On-line Convenience Center.  You should not make any payments online.  If you enroll in e-Bill your e-mail notification will show $ -0- amount due and your payment will continue to be automatically deducted from your account.
  • Until you receive your first e-Bill, we recommend you continue to pay your regular bill as it comes due.
  • You will receive notification via e-mail when PECO has processed your e-Bill setup. Remember, depending on your bill date, you will receive both a paper bill and an online bill in the first period after you enroll. After the first period you will receive the electronic bill only.
  • If you like to keep hard copies, you can print the electronic version.
  • When you receive your e-Bill notice, be sure to click on the link at the top right side of the bill to view bill details, and check out important customer messages.

Paying through e-bill is not required. If you choose to go paperless and enroll online – you still have a choice of how you’d like to pay. Learn about other free paperless pay options such as Automatic Payment
