Net Metering and Interconnection Information

Customers interested in connecting small generator facilities to the PECO transmission or distribution system must follow several procedures and meet certain requirements.  A service and meter form and the appropriate interconnection applications is required.

Interconnection Guidelines:

The links below can be referenced for additional information on Exelon’s guidelines for interconnection of generators to the PECO distribution system.

Exelon Energy Delivery Interconnection Guidelines greater than 2 MVA but less than or equal to 20 MVA

For small generators with applications rated at 50kW or less, see PECO's "Yellow Book" Requirements for Parallel Operation for customers with generation not exceeding 50kW.  The Yellow Book condenses requirements contained in the above listed 2 MVA or less procedure.
