$300 Rebate on High-Efficiency, Natural Gas Heating Systems

Many older furnaces and boilers use 65% of every energy dollar. Even today’s standard-efficiency furnaces and boilers use only 78% of every energy dollar.
By contrast, today’s high-efficiency ENERGY STAR® qualified furnaces and boilers – like those eligible for the PECO $300 rebate – use 90% or more of every energy dollar to efficiently warm your home.
The PECO Natural Gas Energy Efficiency Rebate Program offers a $300 rebate to PECO customers who install an ENERGY STAR qualified, high-efficiency natural gas furnace or boiler. (See program overview below.)

Natural Gas Energy Efficiency Rebate Program Overview
As a PECO natural gas customer, in our natural gas service area of Bucks, Chester, Delaware or Montgomery counties, you may be eligible for the PECO Natural Gas Energy Efficiency Rebate Program by taking the following actions:
• Replace your existing natural gas heating equipment, or convert to natural gas from another home heating fuel; and
• Install an ENERGY STAR qualified, high-efficiency natural gas furnace, boiler and/or residential water heater.
$300 Rebate: High-efficiency natural gas furnace or boiler.
• Furnace must have a 90% Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) rating or greater.
• Boiler must have an 85% AFUE rating or greater.
• Furnace or boiler must be ENERGY STAR qualified.
$50 Rebate: Residential high-efficiency natural gas water heater.
• Water heater must have an Energy Factor (EF) of 0.62 or greater.
• Water heater must be ENERGY STAR qualified.

In addition to any other PECO rebates you may receive, you may also be eligible for a $200 rebate by converting to natural gas heating from another fuel source under the PECO Natural Gas Conversion Rebate/Credit Program.

Pennsylvania residents may be eligible for financing for home energy efficiency improvements through the Keystone Home Energy Efficiency Loan Program.
