We are here to help our customers who may have trouble paying their energy bills or making changes toward energy efficiency. We help more than 130,000 low income customers each year with discounted rates, energy efficiency and weatherization help, and grants – that is the most assistance in the State.

CAP Rate

The CAP Rate program provides a discounted residential tariff rate for low-income customers. 1-800-774-7040


LIHEAP is a Federal program that provides assistance to those having trouble paying electric, natural gas or other energy bills. 


The MEAF program assists low-income, residential customers with bill payment.


Get efficient with LIURP and help lower the gas and electricity usage in your home.

CARES Services

CARES assists customers who have a temporary personal or financial hardship that prevents payment of utility bills.

Third Party Notification program

Once in a while, you or someone close to you may fall behind in paying a PECO bill.
