MEAF: Matching Energy Assistance Fund

The Matching Energy Assistance Fund (MEAF) is an energy assistance program that enables us to assist low-income, residential customers in our service territory with bill payment.

Assistance Eligibility

To be eligible:

  • Total household income at or below 175% of the federal poverty income guidelines
  • In imminent danger of service termination or their services have been terminated
  • Maximum grant is $500 (per commodity) but must bring the past due balance to zero
  • Customers are eligible for MEAF assistance every 24 months 
  • Should apply at the MEAF agency in their county
