Due Date Extension

With a Due Date Extension, residential customers can extend their upcoming bill due date by 21 calendar days (14 calendar days for commercial customers). Fees may apply.

To be eligible for a Due Date Extension, you must:

  • Have active service not pending disconnect
  • Not have an active due date extension
  • Not have defaulted on a due date extension in the past 12 months
  • Have only completed one due date extension in the past 12 months (residential) or no extensions in 12 months (commercial)
  • Not be enrolled in a payment arrangement
  • Not be enrolled in AutoPay
  • Not have a summary bill account

If you accept a Due Date Extension but do not pay off the balance by the agreed-upon date, you may not be eligible for future extensions.
