What is budget billing?
If you prefer to pay a set amount each month regardless of season, Budget Billing spreads costs evenly month to month by charging a pre-arranged amount with each bill. The amount comes under review every four (4) months and may be adjusted up or down depending on how much energy you use. This is done to minimize the amount you may owe, or are due, at the end of each twelve-month period. You can even sign up for a notification letting you know when your amount has changed. At the end of your budget bill year (12 months after you start), you have the option to apply the any overpayments or underpayments to your next bill or spread it out over the course of your new budget bill year. To sign up for Budget Bill visit ourbilling options page. As a reminder, you are responsible for all of your usage, regardless of how much your set amount is.
Please note: If you’re an Automatic Payment and/or Budget Bill participant and you move within the PECO service territory or change bank account numbers, you must re-enroll using your new information.
What payment options do you have?
Peco offers a variety of payment options. Pay by mail, phone, or choose direct debit via Automatic Payment (see your bill for these options). Pay online via Peco.com or choose a Peco authorized walk-in payment location online or by calling customer service.
What if I have a question about billing & payment through Paperless e-Bill (CheckFree)?
You should contact your bank first to see why the payment was not completed correctly. If the problem is unrelated to your bank processing of the payment than you should contact CheckFree email@example.com or call Customer Service/Technical Support at 1-888-212-9342.
How can I make a last minute payment?
Last minute payments can be made either:
Editing a scheduled payment
Log into accountClick Recent Payment ActivityClick Edit on Scheduled PaymentSelect new dateClick Continue
Add/edit bank account information
Go to www.peco.com and loginGo to the “My Profile” tab right hand cornerClick on “My Wallet”Click on “Add New” Bank AccountEnter Your Name, Bank Routing Number, and Account Number.
