Start, Stop, Move

​​​​​​​​​PECO makes it easy for you to start, stop, or move electric and/or gas service for your home. PECO remotely connects and disconnects electric service. All connects and disconnects are processed starting at 8 AM. If you request your electricity shut off you will not have power after 8 AM on the day you choose to stop service.

For commercial properties, you can easily submit an online request to stop service below. To start service for your commercial account, please download and complete the application form and review the FAQs. To move your commercial service to a new address, give us a call at 1-800-220-7326.

Start Service

Are you new to PECO's service area, starting service in your own name for the first time, or a current customer adding additional service at a new address? PECO makes it easy.


Stop Service

Moving out of PECO's service area? Schedule the date to stop service at your current address. Keep in mind service will be shut off as early as 8 a.m. on the date you request.


Move Service

Are you an existing PECO customer looking to move your account to another address in our service area? In one step, you can schedule when to stop service at your current address and start it at your new address.
