PHILADELPHIA (November 23, 2015) – Marie Vicoli of Newtown Square, Pa., was the lucky winner of PECO’s Fuel the Flavor sweepstakes. Nearly 1,000 entries were received for the cooking-themed natural gas sweepstakes, which ran from September through October 2015. In addition to receiving a new energy efficient natural gas double oven, chef Eric Hartten of Newtown Square’s The Crazy Sofa treated Vicoli to a celebratory luncheon.
“I would like to congratulate Ms. Vicoli on becoming the grand prize winner of the PECO Fuel the Flavor sweepstakes and thank her for choosing PECO natural gas,” said Ron Bradley, PECO vice president of Gas Operations. “PECO natural gas customers continue to benefit from the low cost of natural gas. In fact, customers are paying about 50 percent less for natural gas than they did in 2008.”
PECO natural gas customers are saving up to $1,000 per year to heat their homes, compared to other heating fuels. In addition, PECO natural gas is clean, domestic, reliable and safe. The company also offers a variety of rebates for customers switching to natural gas or installing energy-efficient natural gas heating equipment:
PECO recently introduced new programs and incentives to help make switching to natural gas more affordable for customers. For more information about making the switch to natural gas, visit or call 1-866-685-5665.
