Forbes Names PECO Best Employer In Midsize Utility Category

​PHILADELPHIA, May 23, 2016 – PECO has been named Best Employer in the Nation in the Midsize Utility category according to Forbes “America’s Best Employers 2016.” The ranking builds on PECO’s ongoing efforts to deliver innovation and provide a rewarding workplace for more than 2,400 Philadelphia-area workers.

The Forbes “America’s Best Employers 2016” list is compiled from anonymous rankings by more than 30,000 employees. Overall, PECO ranked No. 72 out of 250 midsize companies included, and ranked first among all midsize utilities.

PECO’s employees are dedicated to more than the company they work for, they are committed to the region where they live and work.  In 2015, employees set a new company record, dedicating more time and energy to local nonprofit organizations than in any previous year. Last year, PECO employees logged nearly 15,000 volunteer hours at more than 150 local nonprofits.
