PHILADELPHIA (December 10, 2019) – As part of the company's efforts to strengthen its senior leadership team and enhance its customer-focused initiatives, Funmi Williamson will join PECO in the new role of senior vice president of Customer Operations and Chief Customer Officer.
Williamson is currently senior vice president and Chief Commercial Risk Officer at Exelon Corporation, the parent company of PECO. In this role, she leads the risk management function for Constellation and Exelon Generation, in which she is responsible for the identification, assessment, and monitoring of strategic, financial, and operational risk as well as the communication of those risks to the Finance & Risk Committee of the Board of Directors. She also held several roles in the Commercial Risk Organization and Constellation's proprietary trading team. Prior to joining the company, Williamson was a member of the Assurance and Business Advisory team at Arthur Andersen.
In her new role at PECO, Williamson will oversee all aspects of the company's customer-focused strategy, initiatives, and operations, from the Customer Care Center to its Advanced Metering Infrastructure organization.

Funmi holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. She serves on the boards of the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland and Code in the Schools. She is also a member of Executive Leadership Council.
She will assume her new position effective January 1, 2020.
