​PECO Marketplace offers instant rebates on energy-related products for customers​

PHILADELPHIA (September 17, 2018) – PECO residential electric customers can now purchase energy-saving products online at PECO Marketplace. The newly-launched retail site offers energy-related products that save customers energy and money, including select ENERGY STAR® rated smart thermostats, LED lighting and advanced power strips. PECO Marketplace offers instant rebates on a curated set of competitively-priced energy management products, integrated customer support, end-to-end fulfillment and free shipping on orders over $49.

"Like our customer tools to track and compare energy usage, and our PECO Smart Ideas in-home assessments, PECO Marketplace empowers our customers with another convenient way to control their home energy-use," said Mike Innocenzo, PECO's president and CEO. "We are very pleased to be able to provide immediate savings to our customers through Marketplace, along with services and tips to help them make smart energy decisions."  

With just a few clicks, eligible PECO customers can get up to $50 off smart thermostats such as the Nest® Learning Thermostat™ or ecobee3, or up to $31.50 off recommended six-packs of LED light bulbs from popular brands such as Philips. No paperwork, no wait, no hassle - just a simple validation process that determines rebate eligibility at the same time a customer adds products to his or her cart. PECO customers will also receive regular update emails about seasonal Marketplace sales and newly added items on the site.

The launch of the PECO Marketplace is the latest enhancement made by PECO in its efforts to deliver innovative and convenient solutions for customers. Earlier this year, PECO launched its free mobile app, which allows customers to easily access account information on the go. Featuring fingerprint login, push alerts and paying with one easy slide, the app makes it simple for residential and commercial customers to manage accounts on smartphones and tablets.
