Current forecasts are indicating potentially heavy rain and high winds for the area beginning Sunday through Monday, with the greatest impact along coastal areas. PECO has developed enhanced staffing plans to respond to any potential issues caused by the storm. In addition to PECO's 2,400 employees, the company has secured additional support from local contractors, and has placed crews and personnel on standby.

Should the storm impact southeastern Pennsylvania, PECO crews will work around the clock as safely and quickly as possible to restore service to customers. PECO works with its Exelon sister utilities - Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, and Pepco—as well as other utilities nationwide to coordinate mutual assistance support where it is needed.
