PECO Volunteers Brighten the Holidays with ‘PECO Powers 12 Days of Community Energy’ Initiative

Employees are getting in the holiday spirit with annual campaign to give back to nonprofits across the Greater Philadelphia Region

PHILADELPHIA (November 27, 2018) – The holiday season has officially arrived, and PECO employees are once again working to make the holiday season bright for local nonprofits and charity organizations throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. The company launched its "PECO Powers 12 Days of Community Energy" campaign, which highlights how its employees are donating their time, energy, and financial resources to support those in need.

"During this season of giving, it's important that we do more for our customers than keep the lights on and the gas flowing," said Mike Innocenzo, PECO president and CEO. "Year after year, our employees continue to inspire me with their dedication to empowering others and reaching out where help is needed most."

Philanthropy and volunteerism are key elements of the company's culture, as PECO powers the communities and customers they serve through giving. In 2018 alone, employees have logged more than 10,000 volunteer hours.
