Order online or call 1-855-270-7327 to request your FREE Energy-Saving Kit. Once you place your order and we verify your eligibility, your kit will be shipped to you within two weeks. Kit components may vary.

Schedule A FREE Energy Checkup.

Request a home visit from a PECO energy advisor who will show you ways to save energy and money. The visit usually takes one to two hours, depending on the type of home and heating system. Appointments are available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Please note: while we are not scheduling any new Free Energy Checkup appointments at this time, we are taking reservations for future appointments. Please call 1-855-270-7327.

The FREE Energy Checkup comes with energy-saving items installed, and you’ll also receive a personalized report with recommendations for improving your home’s energy efficiency and an evaluation of your refrigerator and other major appliances. If your appliances qualify, they may be replaced with energy-efficient models free of charge.

Have electric heat? You may be eligible for FREE insulation and air sealing. Your PECO energy advisor will need to perform advanced diagnostic testing, including a blower door test and thermal imaging, to pinpoint air leaks and identify energy-saving opportunities.

You may qualify if you answer “yes” to these questions:

  1. Are you a PECO residential electric customer who personally receives an electric bill?

  2. Is your monthly household income at or below the amount noted in the chart below?
    Do you have permission to make energy-saving upgrades at your residence?
    (Renters must have landlord’s permission to participate.)

    If you answered yes to all three questions, call 1-855-270-7327 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday to confirm your eligibility and to schedule your PECO in-home energy checkup.
